Bathroom Renovation in South Sydney’s Connells Point

This beautifully designed bathroom with neutral calming colours enumerates a sense of tranquillity and feels almost like a resort. The Connells Point bathroom space was created for an elderly couple, with beauty, safety, practicality, comfort, and storage as the main motivator.

The calming tone was made possible with the presence of the matte beige travertine floor and wall tile, a charming tile that is further enhanced when natural light reflects off its surface, this serene tile compliments the existing varnished bathroom window, door trims and existing bathroom door.

Bathroom safety was achieved in the design of an open space floor plan, level bathroom flooring and the use of grip floor tile to reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls, easy reach tapware, the use or grab rails and a tidy and easy-to-clean spacious and supportive enclosed frameless enclosed shower corner, featuring a support grab rail for comfort and confidence.

Bathroom practicality and comfort was introduced with the installation of underfloor heating and above-heating light lamps for warmth when needed. Comfort can furthermore be seen in the use of the soft-close drawers in the vanity unit, on the soft-close and comfortable-to-sit toilet suite, in the spacious enclosed corner shower area, and the use of user-friendly and easy to reach bathroom tapware including the helpful two in one shower system.

Bathroom storage space was the final highlight on the brief, with a request for substantial storage, the client opted for a large 3-door mirrored shaving cabinet and below a durable spacious beige woodgrain bathroom vanity featuring 4 soft close drawers, 2 doors, and above a delightful Caesarstone benchtop with a good amount of space to place hand soaps and bathroom decor.
