Our renovators ensure a successful bathroom renovation by breaking things down and outlining a clear plan to give you the bathroom or laundry makeover of your dreams. The process is just four simple steps that end with you getting a new bathroom that meets your daily needs and the design of your home.
We come to you, assess the bathroom or laundry area and provide a detailed quote for your new bathroom before commencing our renovation. Our goal is to review your space and address every aspect of your desired updates from start to finish.

Step 1: On-Site Consultation
An expert renovataor form Star Ceramics will come out and meet with you to review the existing layout and structural dimensions of your space. This meeting gives us insight into your objectives and helps to identify any potential challenges that may arise. We review both the surface-level aesthetics, as well as plumbing and the current fixtures and their placements.
Consultations Include:
• Space Analysis:
We will physically measure the dimensions of the space to determine the possibilities (such as what the space could allow) for remodelling.
• Feedback:
You will describe how the current space does not meet your needs, while we will respond with information regarding what is structurally feasible.
• Complexity Review:
Our team will assess the complexity of the demolition and the requirements for the new installation.
Important considerations:
We need a thorough understanding of what you’re looking for. This involves assessing how well the current layout sits and functions.
• Current Plumbing Layouts:
Do you want to retain the same placement for the toilet, shower, and vanity, or do you need to relocate the entire drain stack?
• Storage Requirements:
What is the volume of the contents you need to store within the vanity or recessed wall cabinets? Are there adequate storage spaces in the new layout based on your current inventory?
• Airflow & Lighting:
Is the airflow sufficient for the room size? Are additional electrical outlets needed for heated towel rails and back-lit mirrors?
Step 2: Getting a Quote
We’ll take all of the ideas and suggestions from our on-site consultation and combine them into one comprehensive quote. This quote is good for three months, has a quick turnaround time, and includes a breakdown of the job quotations.
Build Quote
After completing the on-site assessment, we will produce a detailed build quote. It will cover all specialised labour and key construction materials, as well as the transport of materials.
Personal Choice (PC) Item Quote
Once you have approved the build quote, we will proceed with selecting the fixtures and finishes for your renovation. This phase of the process ensures that all products are acquired and ready for installation, which avoids any delays caused by unavailable products or stock shortages.
You can visit the Star Ceramics Showroom to view and touch the tile and fixtures you have selected instead of relying on renders. This is the perfect opportunity to test and view the quality, look and finish of your fixtures, tapware, tiles and any other products.
If there are any specialty products not currently in our inventory that you desire, we will source them.
Phase 3: Construction – The Renovation Begins
Once you’ve signed off on your quote and chosen your fixtures, etc., construction can commence. We establish a pre-arranged date with you and organise tradespeople and material delivery around that. Each stage of the build will strictly adhere to Australian Standard (AS/NZS) specifications for the construction of wet areas.
Our skilled and experienced team will install your build and ensure it is done correctly and finished according to the timeframes agreed upon. We only use the highest quality products in all of our projects.
The team will maintain a clean working environment, removing all rubbish and waste from the site each day to reduce disruption to you and your household. You will receive regular updates on the build’s progression to ensure that the timelines are clear and on track.
Phase 4: Completion – And That’s A Wrap
The final step is adding the finishing touches and delivering the bathroom to you. We’ll also ensure all tools and debris are completely removed and do a final inspection to confirm each fixture and all products are installed correctly and looking perfect. Then the bathroom is yours to enjoy!
The structural portion of our build is covered with a six-year warranty to give you long-term peace of mind. For fixtures and tapware, manufacturers provide their own warranties on individual items.
